Specialty Speech offers a variety of teletherapy services. These include screenings, evaluations, individual and group therapy sessions for children and adults to improve communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders.
We truly offer unique and specialized services. In addition to therapeutic intervention for speech and language disorders such as language, articulation, fluency and social skills for a variety of abilities, Specialty Speech offers:
Lindsay graduated with a masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is licensed in NJ, VA, NC, CA and WA. She has over ten years of experience working in the field. She has seen the benefit of intervention and the positive impact it has on families and individuals. She enjoys working with a variety of disorders and abilities and is passionate about improving overall communication skills. Her specific interests lie in serving the neurodiverse population through functional communication, social skills and career readiness preparation.

Do you take my insurance? We are out of network with insurance but can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Do you have payment options? Yes, we offer flexible payment options that include options to prepay for 4 sessions ahead of time at a discounted rate.
What do your telehealth services look like? You will log into a privacy protected platform for all engaging and interactive sessions.
Can parents join their child during sessions? Yes! Parents are encouraged to join sessions. This promotes carry over of learned skills.
How do I know if I or my child needs services? It's best to call us to ask questions or let us know your concerns. We can advise whether further action is needed, like an evaluation, a free screening or if discussing activities/strategies to try at home first.
How long are therapy sessions? Depending on your unique needs sessions can be 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes.
